Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related technical field.
- Minimum 2 years of direct flight test engineering experience.
- Strong understanding of aerodynamics, flight mechanics, aircraft systems, propulsion, and engineering test methods.
- Experience supporting aircraft performance, flight characteristics, systems testing, flight test instrumentation, or data acquisition.
- Ability to analyze and interpret flight test data using engineering tools and methods.
- Foundational understanding of aircraft certification and FAA, military, or customer regulatory requirements.
- Strong mathematics, physics, analytical, and technical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an FAA Class III Medical Certificate.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to approximately 20%.
- Flexibility to work additional hours during active flight test periods.
- Must be a U.S. citizen capable of obtaining and maintaining a Department of Defense Secret security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
